Michael & Somerset met in Brandon, Manitoba in 1997 where they were taking their Post Secondary Education.  Michael graduated in 1998 with his diploma in Criminology and went on to serve as a member of the RCMP.  Somerset graduated in 1999 with her Bachelor of Nursing degree and began her career serving as a nurse.  In 2004 after an encounter with the Lord, Michael & Somerset were launched into vocational ministry serving in various ministry leadership capacities developing & running equipping and discipleship training schools and pastoring with their home church, Bethel, where they served on staff as pastors.

 In 2016, Michael & Somerset transitioned from their ministry with their local church, accepting a call to work with Kenn & Cheryl Gill with Ripple Effect Ministries and created Legacy 728 Ministries, a National Ministry with the mission to help to strengthen, equip and resource local churches throughout the Nation of Canada as well as Central America.
